Did you know that people tend to eat 92% of what is on their plates?
It's human nature to want to eat everything on your plate...and nothing says "Done" like an empty plate. Since you know this, why not be wise about how much food you set before yourself in the first place?
Weight loss becomes harder than necessary when you serve yourself enough food for two or three people. Your brain wants to see that empty plate, regardless of whether it took to get there was overeating or not!
The bible gives you wisdom in this area Proverbs 23:1-3 "When you sit down to eat with a ruler, Consider carefully what is before you; And put a knife to your throat If you are a man given to appetite. Do not desire his delicacies, For they are deceptive food."
The dictionary defines a ruler as "a person having authority over a certain territory." In this case, you are the ruler since you have authority over what you put in your mouth.
To help yourself rule wisely in this area, I found a free game online called "Portion Control" that is fun and may shock you about the correct food sizes for one person. You can access the game here:

However you score, feel good about taking time to learn more about taking care of yourself. Plus, you can take one small step at your next meal to see if the amount you are serving yourself is really what your body can handle.
Never forget: When it comes to your health choices, you rule!
Will you do me a favor? If you know any good games online for health and weight loss, then email me the link. I'd love to compile a 'Top 10' list to share with other readers.
Be blessed in Health, Healing, and Wholeness,
