I got some shocking news this week. My mom called and said that my cousin had a heart attack.
My first reaction was "What???" Aric is only 38 years old. He's in the hospital recovering, so please pray for him; thank you in advance.
Aric's heart attack reminded me again how important health is. I remember my only experience with severe chest pain.
I was 38 years old at the time too.
For me, it was a wake-up call. God had my full attention while I was clutching my heart and scared to move. When he said, "It is not supposed to be this way," I answered "Yes, Sir!" in my spirit.
From that day forward, I allowed God to renew my thinking regarding health. I've made too many mistakes to count on my journey but there is one thing I have in my favor:
