The laziest way to your best weight is...

Back when I was struggling with my weight I was always either coming off a weight loss plan or about to start one. Can you guess which day was the most popular day I said I was going to start my plan?
You guessed it: Monday!
Then I'd spend the rest of the week dreading the complete life overhaul I planned to make all at once. Boy was that a hard way to live.
Aren't you ready for an easier way? I discovered that the laziest way to reach my best weight is to make changes in small steps. And the laziest time to start is not on Monday...it is to start TO-Day.
Because it's always easier to change today than it will be tomorrow.
Isn't it true that the more you practice something the better you get at it? If your health habits have gotten you a body that you are unhappy with, then continuing to practice those habits today will make you even better at them. They will become more ingrained into your brain and even harder to change.
But the lazy way is to make up your mind and start changing today. You determine that you are going to practice good health habits so you will become better at THOSE. If you practice them long enough, you are guaranteed to get a better body.
What small step can you practice today that will bring you closer to the body you want?
* Will it be trading in just one of your sugared drinks for water?
* Will it be walking to the mailbox instead of driving to it?
* Will it be adding a vegetable serving to your lunch or dinner?
Whatever IT is, then be lazy and do it today. Your body will thank you for it.
