Dream Boards
To be successful in releasing excess weight, it's critical that you have a strong vision of your ultimate goal. One great way to sharpen your vision is to create a 'dream board.' A dream board is simply a poster board that illustrates how you want to look and feel when you reach your goal. Since the mind thinks in pictures, a dream board is a great way to communicate to your mind what you To create a dream board, just get a poster board, a glue stick, and 3 or 4 fitness or lifestyle magazines so you can get pictures from them. Clip pictures that show what you want your body to look like, the confidence you want to have, and what you will be doing to reach your goal, like exercising, eating healthy meals, praying, praising, being with family...in short, anything that stirs your emotions and imagination. Glue the pictures on the board in any way you like. Post your dream board where it can inspire you everyday. When you are exercising or eating nutritious meals, recall your board and how good it makes you feel. You'll soon begin to associate pleasure to your healthy habits so you will be more likely to keep them. And the more you practice these habits, the sooner you will reach your weight loss goal.
