“Sin is a terminal condition.” It humbles me to know that we would still be dead in our sins if not for Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection!

Consider Philippians 2:13:

 

"...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

 

Wow! The fact that we even WANT to do the right thing is evidence of the Lord’s work in us. Without Him, we would not even care! How wretched is that?

This Resurrection Sunday, let us celebrate our newness of life in Jesus and why we have hope in Him. This is an oldie, but a goodie:
