This morning, I was reflecting on how far the Lord has brought me after a TBYT reader wrote about how far she has to go on her weight loss journey.

She mentioned my ''Before'' picture, which as of this date was taken 18 years ago. 

 

 

I wrote her the following message to encourage her:

"Each of us is unique in our journey and God meets us exactly where WE are, which is why you cannot compare your journey with someone else.

One more thing...Those 18 years aren't lumped together. They happened 1 day at a time, just like your life happens 1 day at a time.''

 

 

I was also reminded of a journal entry I wrote back in 2002. Hard to believe that was 18 years ago!

 

Reading it again almost made me cry.

 

I’m sharing it with you now. It's always tough to share feelings this deep.

 

However, I am sharing this in case it saves someone’s life.
