Our minds are so sneaky in convincing us to overeat, aren't they?
On my birthday last year, I decided to "treat" myself to my favorite dessert of strawberry shortcake.
I ate it at the restaurant and enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, my birthDAY turned into a BirthWEEKEND of food indulgence!
Ouch.
When I finally came to myself, I said: "Whoa, Kim - your birthday is over. Let's get back on track here."
