3 ways to protect yourself against sabotage

Published: Tue, 07/25/17

On yesterday's episode of TBYT TV, I featured the following scripture from Romans 12:2:

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Why is renewing your mind relevant in weight loss? Consider these 3 ways:

  • How you see yourself determines your willingness to accept negative behavior in your life or not.

  • The story you tell yourself about your past or your current situation can either give you courage to keep going - or serve as an excuse to quit.

On my own successful weight loss journey, I discovered a host of sabotaging thoughts that kept me overweight.

However, once I started dismantling those, I found it easier to stick with my program until I saw the results of which I dreamed.
