I had an empowering thought during my workout this morning:
"Since I only have one life to live, I choose to live it fit."
That's my new motto: Live it Fit Everyday.
I choose L.I.F.E. How about you?
This is a decision that you must make everyday. If you don't, you will end up with the default of this world.
Not good.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 gives us a powerful command about the importance of our choices:
"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days.."
Last night, Mike and I watched a movie called "Limitless." It was about a man who was given pills that enabled his brain to access every bit of knowledge he had ever acquired.
However, the discouraging thing is that the man chose to use this ability only to enrich Himself - not to help others.
While we may not be able to remember
everything we have learned like the man in the movie, we all remember enough to make a difference.
This question is: How will we use what we have learned?
"Live it Fit Everyday" doesn't mean being perfect; however it does mean doing your best daily to maximize your gifts to benefit others and glorify the Lord.
What new choice will you make to start living it fit today?
It is an awesome opportunity to glorify the Lord through your daily choices. I hope it gives you joy to think about the possibilities.
The possibilities truly are LIMITLESS!
