This scripture was on my mind when I woke up this morning:
"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)."
God is speaking to me about
His children being Overcomers.
Each day, affirm your identify as an Overcomer.
Life is an obstacle course. Each day, you will face challenges to overcome.
Some challenges are external. Those come from
other people or circumstances.
But most challenges are internal. They come from within -through your own sabotaging thoughts and destructive habits.
You can overcome them all.
Whatever the source of the challenges, you are destined to overcome them - one day at a time, one victory at a time!
Now the enemy will try to take you down.
Unfortunately, he will succeed in taking down those who do not believe and live
the truth of 1 John 4:4.
But he won't take you down.
You will succeed as you believe and live according to your belief.
Face
each day with excitement, knowing that the Lord will reveal His wisdom to you daily to overcome every challenge you face.
He promises that if you ask Him, He will give you wisdom liberally - not a little, but liberally!
As you operate in the Lord's wisdom, you will grow in confidence and joy, affirming your
identity as an Overcomer through Jesus Christ every day.
Confess 1 John 4:4 daily and you say the same thing that God says about you.
You'll walk in agreement with God on your side.
If God be for you, who can be
against you?
