If you are suffering from emotional issues and have been reluctant to go to God about them, consider this revelation He gave me just the other day. I think this example is one to which all of us can relate:

Remember when you were a child and hurt yourself, scraping the skin off your arm or knee. An adult wanted to tend to the injured area, but you fought them because you didn't want them to hurt you. You didn't understand that they needed to clean the wound up so that real healing could begin.

Many Christians resist God because they think that going to Him will hurt them more, not understanding that His heart of love is to heal them, not to hurt them.

So it is not really about the food. For many people, it is about their need for comfort and healing from the pain of the past. That's a heart issue of which only God can heal you.

The Lord is faithful and will walk with you every step of your healing journey. And someday, you will be able to testify to others what He did for you in this area.

Trust Him and see what He will do!
