When I struggled with overeating, I ate a lot of junk and snack food. But one day I got a bright idea:
"Why not use the money that I was spending on junk and snack food for myself to help feed a child who didn't have any
food?"
In this way, we both could win!
That idea was the inspiration for the Act For Compassion fundraising campaign that I am re-launching today. It runs through Sunday, September 18, 2016.
I'm calling for those of us who may be eating too much food to "share their plates" with children who have little to eat.
Will you help? Here's how:
If you've been thinking about investing in the TBYT program, this weekend would be a good time to change your life - and someone else's.
So far, the TBYT Compassion Brigade has donated over $1,200 to Act for Compassion.
I know we can do much more together!
"If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
