These
words really spoke to my heart because I adopted a similar philosophy when I was just a teenager.
At aged 17, I decided that I would rather fail trying to reach my dreams than spend a lifetime of regret over what might have been.
I would picture myself as a old lady,
sitting in a rocking chair reviewing her life.
I saw myself recalling something that I wanted to do - but did not because I let fear stop me.
I felt the pain of regret from that.
That picture of a regretful, future me spurred me on like no other! I'd think, "If I dare and I fail, at least I learn something. I remove the ghost of 'I wish I had.'"
Failure is feedback and it is fuel for success. It is the opportunity to learn and keep adjusting until you discover what works for
you.
And you get better just from the attempt.
For some of you, your weight issue may be just about finding the right diet or exercise program. There are plenty of good ones out there.
I created TBYT because I knew a solution was needed for someone like me, for whom the excess weight was not just about another diet or exercise
program.
I needed emotional healing and I wanted to grow stronger Spiritually. Through my weight loss journey, I gained both - and reach my weight loss goals.
I want to share what I learned with you - and save you time and energy you might have wasted on
strategies that don't work.
God is calling some of you to a new life through your weight loss journey. If that is the case, don't let fear stop you.
Join others on the journey and let's all go farther -
together!
Be blessed in
Health, Healing, and Wholeness,
