This year, I am really challenging myself to stretch more outside of my comfort zone. You see, I sometimes have the tendency to procrastinate on tasks I view as difficult.
When I think of them, I experience tension in my body (resistance). Because I want to avoid that painful tension, I put off doing the
task!
However, one morning I decided to tackle the things I had been putting off. But just like the night follows the day, the tension in my body came after making that decision.
This time though, I was ready for it. Instead of taking my usual action of procrastinating, I changed the way I viewed the
tension.
This new view empowered me to act anyway rather than allowing the tension to be a trigger to procrastinate.
If you have a problem with procrastination, then I encourage you to try my new view.
See if it doesn’t empower you to accomplish more of your goals this year than ever before!
