Prayer changes things! Prayer played a pivotal role in my courtship with my husband Mike.
With slight modifications, I am praying the same prayer for you that Mike wrote to me. I want whatever you do to succeed!
Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus,
I recognize You as the one and only true God; the Creator of all things. I am asking you to forgive me of my sins and help me to continue to be a working vessel for You.
Now that you have
forgiven me and hear me, I want to thank you profusely for bringing each person who reads this prayer into my life.
I am asking that You bless them and strengthen them spiritually first and foremost, then continue to bless them naturally, physically, mentally and financially so that they may continue to fulfill their work in you.
As they move in Your spirit, bless them with the desires of their hearts with those things that only You and they know; comfort and soothe
them as only You can.
If their families don't know You and the pardoning of their sins then I am asking that You open up their understanding and save them.
Touch their hands that they may prosper in their endeavors. Help them to make sound decisions in all things including time management. Help them to forget about past hurts and wrongful accusations. Help them to maintain a joyous smile and disposition.
I've said "Help" Father because we know
it is only by Your love, mercy and grace that they are able to keep their bright countenance and positive attitude and outlook on this life.
I know Father, that it is Your great pleasure to fulfill this request and I thank You in the "MIGHTY" name of Jesus! ~Amen~ Mike Taylor
