I've got a secret. I once was a shy teenager, so much that I could barely say my own name out loud. One day out of frustration, I wrote a short poem to express my feelings. I called it "Mr. Mouth":
"Please, Mr. Mouth, open please
Let
me be free to speak my piece
I promise to act with caution and kindness
Just please let me out of this prison of silence."
Okay, so it wasn't great poetry, but you get my point. I was desperate to find my voice!
It took some years, but I found it with God's help.
I realized that the world wouldn't fall apart if I expressed my opinions, ideas, needs, and wants to others honestly.
That's what I want for you - starting with hearing your voice about Take Back Your Temple!
I am testing out a new voice mail system currently to determine
usefulness for the TBYT community. It would be another way for you to communicate with me, in addition to email or using the Contact form on the website.
You can test the system by voicing:
- Your questions
- Your ideas
- Your testimonials
- Your suggestions for improvement
The system doesn't require a phone call; instead you record your message from a web page. Your message can be up to 5 minutes long.
The main requirement is a microphone, which most computers and mobile devices have built in already.
To test the voicemail system, do
the following:
2. Click the purple tab that says 'Send Kim a Voicemail Message' on the right side of
the page.
3. Follow the instructions on the window that pops up.
If you run into any problems using the system, just reply back to this message and let me know what happened.
I plan to use the
results of this test to decide whether to keep the service or cancel it by September 7.
Thanks so much for listening - now feel free to speak your piece:
